Southwest Comprehensive AIDS-care, Research and Education (CARE) Center has several clinics and offices, most in Santa Fe. Southwest CARE Center is one of five HIV Service Provider (HSP) organizations that offer a comprehensive range of HIV care and support services to persons living with HIV in New Mexico. Southwest CARE Center primarily serves Santa Fe and eight additional northern counties of New Mexico.

  • HIV Support Services
  • Offers PrEP for HIV (pre-exposure prophylaxis)
    • Offers primary care, including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) to prevent HIV. Will accept insurance for PrEP visits and to get medication. Also will assist persons without insurance to get signed up and/or access patient-assistance programs that pay for PrEP. PrEP is offered at all three locations in Santa Fe (primary care on Galisteo Street and Alameda, as well as Specialty Care clinic on Harkle Road.)
